Graphic Designer / Art Director
About me
Born in '97 in São Paulo, Brazil, I grew up as dial-up was turning into broadband and games were making the jump to 3D. I spent hours in MS Paint with no clue what design even was, and in the level editors of my PC games, bringing my ideas to life.
I currently work freelance, but I spent most of my career at agencies or in-house. Like every intern, I started in production — layout, packaging artwork, rolling out signage systems. The path drew itself, pulled along by what each project needed. Bit by bit I gained ground and moved into the creative side: branding projects, product shoots, art-directing photography. Motion design came next, out of the work I was doing for Instagram and TikTok.
What pulls me most in design today is interactivity, probably because of my history with games. That's what led me, lately, to use AI to complement my own skills and act as a partner in building ideas that would otherwise stay on paper. I don't want generative AI in my projects, but coding, iterating, brainstorming and hunting references with it has made some projects possible, this portfolio included.
